If your email client does NOT open with a message ready to send ....

Windows 10:

Check that your email client is configured properly:

1. Open Control Panel.

2. Click Default Programs.

3. Click Set your default programs.

4. Locate your email client eg Thunderbird, Live Mail

5. Click Choose defaults for this program.

6. Check boxes as shown (a blank box next to MAILTO is the cause of the problem).


7. Click Save and exit.
